Amalaya de Colomé Malbec Blend 2008 Salta
This blend, which is 70% Malbec, is a perfect example of the quality of the wines coming out of Argentina. With tantalising scents of cherry, bramble and raspberry followed by subtle vanilla notes from the barrel ageing. On the palate it is spicy and intense and leaves you craving for more. It may be an unoriginal food match but this was made to be drunk with a good steak!
