    This guy is a nitwit. The “breather” is called an airlock, the wine doesn’t evaporate, it gets converted into gasses (and alcohol) and it doesn’t spoil if you don’t top off the liquid level because the CO2 gas being expelled doesn’t react with the wine like oxygen.

    I RECOMMEND YOU FIND ANOTHER TEACHER TO LEARN FROM.

    what do you do if the level of the wine goes down, and how long do you leave the breather on the bottle.
