The Seghesio family have been making their superb range of Zinfandels since they first bought land in 1895. Cortina comes from some of the oldest head-pruned vineyards in the dry creek valley. It is one of their cooler sites and produces a sleeker wine with intense raspberry and white pepper flavours, a lean, muscular structure and a complexity not found in many Zinfandels. This is one of the finest Zins around and will cellar well for 6-8 years.
