Vergelegens reputation as one of the best new world wineries around is more than justified. 'The White' is their take on top white Graves - mainly Semillon with some Sauvignon from some of their best vineyards, the grapes are whole bunch pressed, fermented and matured for in new French oak. With a powerful and complex nose of greengage, fresh herbs, lime and hot buttered toast the palate is rich and layered with real polish and terrific balance.
